MEET THE FUSION DANCE ACADEMY TEAM

Maddi grew up in St. Louis, where she trained at COCA as a member of its pre-professional company, Ballet Eclectica. In addition to attending summer intensives with Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Maddi toured with Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp’s International Ballet Ensemble.

She continued her training at the University of Iowa, earning a B.F.A. in Dance and a B.A. in Journalism, graduating summa cum laude. During her time there, Maddi performed works by faculty, adjunct professors, and graduate artists, toured with the University’s Dancers in Company, and had her choreography selected for the annual Graduate/Undergraduate Concert. Her capstone was the performance of her B.F.A. solo, choreographed by Princess Grace Award winner Rachel Meyer.

Following graduation, Maddi performed with independent artists in San Francisco, Asheville Ballet, and companies in the St. Louis area before shifting her focus to teaching.

Whitney is currently a senior at UW-Madison, pursuing a dual degree in dance and elementary education, and also a certificate in dance education. Throughout her time studying dance at UW, Whitney has performed in works by professors Li Chiao-Ping, Chell Parkins, and Jin Wen Yu. Most notably, she performed in Professor Yu's 2024 and 2025 research concerts. She has also performed in and shown work in student choreography concerts. Whitney has performed at the 2025 and 2026 ACDA North-Central Conferences. Her work "Tenderness and Rot," (2024) was selected to perform at the conference in 2025. In 2026, she presented research on dance education at the conference. Whitney is passionate about dance education and in the Summer of 2024, she was awarded the Arnold Summer Fellowship to attend the Dance Education Laboratory at the 92nd Street Y in New York City. Most recently, Whitney's piece, "Forth and Back" (2025) was selected to perform at the 2026 Cleveland Dance Festival. She will also be presenting on her experience in the dance education certification program at the 2026 National Dance Education Conference (NDEO) in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  

Sandra danced at Fusion Dance Academy for 12 years, competing for 9 years on our competition team. She interned at Fusion Dance Academy for 2 years teaching Ballet 1 and Privates, and Assisted for 4 years in different classes such as Ballet 2, Pre Ballet/Tap, and Mini Competition Team. She’s trained in many different styles. Going on to be a part of UWEC Dance Team in 2023 - 2024 where they were 3rd in the nation for open Hip Hop. She’s back at home to continue her schooling to become an Occupational Therapist Assistant. Outside of dance Sandra enjoys CrossFit, working with children, and spending time with her family!

Harmony’s passion for dance began at age 3.  She developed a love for competitive dancing at age 6 where she had the opportunity to travel all over the Las Vegas and West Coast area competing. 

When Harmony was 8 her family moved to Wisconsin where she joined the Fusion Family as one of Fusion’s first dance students!  After dancing with Miss Tina for several years Harmony began assisting and later teaching classes. 

Throughout her entire high school career Harmony participated on the DeForest dance team. She was team captain her junior and senior year.  Upon graduation from high school Harmony went on to Madison College and received her associates degree in Early Childhood Education, she continued to teach at Fusion during her time at college. 

Harmony’s love of teaching children and dance is a perfect fit here at Fusion!

Kenna Kramer has been dancing since the age of 3 where she trained in Tap, Ballet, Pointe, Modern, Lyrical and Hip-hop. In 2023 Kenna graduated with degrees in Dance and Psychology from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. During her time in college, Kenna’s Tap choreography was selected to be fully produced in the student directed show “Afterimages” her junior and senior year. Kenna has attended Masterclasses and Summer intensives with Chicago Tap Theatre since 2021. Kenna has relocated to Sun Prairie in order to Tap Dance Professionally with Katherine Kramer. She has experience teaching and choreographing for all levels and ages and specializes in Tap. Kenna is certified in Mat Pilates and is working on becoming a Comprehensive Pilates Instructor and loves teaching Pilates to dancers. 

Allison Larsen, from Wisconsin, graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with a BS in Dance and a Certificate in Pilates. Larsen danced for the NBA with the Milwaukee Bucks for seven seasons, has backup danced for song artists including Montell Jordan, Run DMC, Coolio, and more. She has performed at many live events including Summerfest in Milwaukee, WI, and been in multiple music/concept videos including “414” by Grace Webber and “Anxiety” and “Carnival” by Courtney Kopchinski. Larsen is still an actively training dancer and currently a part of the Hip Hip company, Barrio Dance Factory who are the 2024 and 2025 World of Dance USA Champions and represented the USA in the International round where they took 11th in 2024 and 8th in 2025. Outside of commercial dance work, Larsen is an instructor and videographer at Barrio Dance Studio, is a Pilates instructor, and choreographs musicals for High Schools around Wisconsin.

Molly was born and raised near Madison, Wisconsin. She is a dancer, performer, choreographer and educator. She received her training locally at Virginia Davis School of Dance and continued her training at Loyola University Chicago's Dance Program where she graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in Dance and minor in Musical Theater. 

Molly most recently graduated from the Professional Semester at Broadway Dance Center in New York City where she had the opportunity to train and perform works of world renowned choreographers such as Emily Greenwell, Marc Kimelman, Matthew Steffens, Andrew Wilson, and Maleek Washington. Furthermore, she trained and performed with the Mandala Dance Company in Rome, Italy, New York's Theater Barn, Madison Contemporary Dance and in numerous concerts and festivals in the Chicago area. 

Molly is an ambassador for Chicago The Musical with theater MAMA, and is an artist of RAW: Natural Born Artists in Chicago. Molly has been teaching dance for around six years and was an instructor for National Dance Alliance (NDA.) Alongside performing, and teaching, Molly has a love for fashion and styling and spending time with her family, friends, and dog Mabel. 

Rae Slager was born and raised in Kenosha, Wisconsin. At age three, she began dancing at Laura Coté School of Dance in Wilmot, Wisconsin and became an avid lover of tap dancing. At Coté’s studio, she spent several years studying under universally recognized tap choreographer and performer, Nico Rubio. 

From eight to eighteen, she competed competitively in tap which sparked an interest in choreographing. Her choreography has won multiple awards for technicality and originality and has reached national levels. 

Since 2017, Rae has enjoyed teaching tap dance to students of all ages with a focus on rhythmicality, tap history, and self-expression. She is certified as a Youth Protection Advocate in Dance which provides additional training in classroom management, safety, and body positivity. Outside of the studio, you may catch her rock climbing or spoiling her two lovable cats, Mina and Cookie.

Jessica Vokoun has been performing and teaching dance for over 25 years. Her teaching merges a variety of influences from modern, post-modern, and jazz artists with whom she has studied: from Graham technique, to Cunningham technique, Dunham and Horton, Release and Counter Technique, Gaga and Contact Improvisation, and the Fosse repertoire (via Chet Walker).  As a tenured professor at the University of Tulsa, she directed the dance program, choreographed over a dozen musicals and collaborated on interdisciplinary performances. Her choreography has been presented at the New Genre Festival, American College Dance Festival, Crystal Bridges, and Movement Research NYC. Ms.Vokoun completed her MFA in Dance Performance and Choreography at UW-Milwaukee. She has performed internationally with the dance-theatre company NC5, and across the US with The Bell House, Tulsa Modern Movement, Living Water Dance, Li Chiao Ping Dance, Kanopy Dance and the Daniel Gwirtzman Dance Company.  As a video artist, Ms. Vokoun has collaborated with Tulsa Modern Movement, The Bell House, Liz Lerman Dance Exchange, da:zain and Ko-Thi Dance Company.  She founded and directed the Oklahoma Dance Film Festival for 12 years, and has curated several dance-film programs for the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and the Wisconsin Film Festival.
